SynQor CEO Martin Schlecht Named as Finalist in Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards
Hudson, Mass - SynQor's CEO, Martin Schlecht, was recently selected as a finalist for the 2002 New England Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. This exclusive awards program, sponsored by Ernst & Young, is dedicated to honoring today's best and brightest entrepreneurs, whose contributions drive today's economy and tomorrow's opportunities. Dr. Schlecht was selected from a large field of candidates as one of a handful of finalists in the Technology Manufacturing/Hardware category.
Dr. Schlecht was recognized for his leadership of SynQor since the company's founding in 1997. All finalists in the 2002 Entrepreneur of the Year Awards program were chosen based on an in-depth nomination process, including interviews with an esteemed panel of judges assembled from regional business leaders. Winners of the competition were announced at a black tie event on June 26 and all finalists and winners were profiled in a special supplement to the June 28 issue of the Boston Business Journal.
