ISO-9001:2000

In October 2003, SynQor earned a certificate of registration for meeting all requirements of ISO-9001:2000, the International standard for quality systems. This Registration, awarded by TUV Management Service, applies to SynQor's design and manufacture of high-efficiency DC/DC converters. Prior to 2003, SynQor was certified to the ISO-9001:1994 standards.

ISO-9001 is an internationally-recognized quality standard that covers a company's design, development, production, installation and servicing. ISO-9001 is the most comprehensive standard in the ISO-9000 series and is acknowledged worldwide as a measure of a supplier's quality processes.

ISO certification was an important step for SynQor, since we have always been committed to quality. SynQor's process-centered organization structure provided a solid groundwork for a smooth transition to the ISO quality standards. As part of the registration process, TUV performed an on-site assessment, examination of documented procedures and a survey of the company's overall operations. To determine continued compliance with ISO-9001:2000, TUV periodically conducts routine surveillance audits of SynQor's operations.
