SynQor, Inc., will be exhibiting at the Aircraft Interiors Expo “AIX North America” 2019 in Los Angeles. The exhibition is located at the Los Angeles Convention Center, 1201 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, California. September 10-12.
Boxborough, MA – SynQor brings its latest in AC-DC converters technology, AeroQor, to this renowned civil avialtion show. The new AeroQor product family is composed of compact, high efficiency, low weight, isolated single-phase and 3-phase Power Factor Correction modules, “APFIC”, and AC Line filters specifically designed for the commercial aircraft industry. This new line of products was unveiled at the AIX show in Hamburg, Germany earlier in the year.
SynQor’s AeroQor isolated single-phase and 3-phase PFC modules employ active power factor correction technology and are designed to be used as a COTS component that meets the strictest Boeing and Airbus in-cabin specifications. The APFIC modules, in conjunction with the AeroQor AC Line filters, draw a nearly perfect sinusoidal current (PF >0.98) from single-phase or 3-phase avionic sources. The single-phase APFIC units have a wide input voltage and frequency range that allows them to function seamlessly in worldwide aircraft markets. The 3-phase APFIC also has a wide frequency range, a nominal 115VrmsL-N input voltage and draws well balanced DO-160G compliant input currents from avionic sources. In addition, SynQor’s APFIC units have been designed to handle the harshest voltage and frequency switching transients of the aircraft industry. The converters are able to deliver power during normal and abnormal voltage transients by using holdup capacitors. The high tech power conversion designs reduce harmonic distortions, provide high power factor and have low electromagnetic interference characteristics which help manufactures and integrators reduce their time to market.
During this show, SynQor will also be showcasing its industrial line of isolated and non-isolated DC-DC converters and EMI filters. The converters and filters can be used in combination with the AeroQor product line to deliver flexible, efficient, high quality and reliable avionic solutions. SynQor’s synchronous-rectifier technology yields converters with high efficiency, high output power and low form factor characteristics. The converters are capable of operating at high temperatures which can eliminate the need for heatsinks in many designs. The AeroQor and InQor® products have optional load sharing features which allows for the combining of multiple units to deliver regulated and semi-regulated, high output power systems.
