SynQor, Inc., will be exhibiting at the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2022, the global marketplace for the world’s cabin interiors and inflight entertainment industry.  The exhibition is located at the Hamburg Messe in Germany from June 14-16, 2022.

Boxborough, MA – May 24, 2022 – SynQor brings its AeroQor® line of single-phase and 3-Phase Power Factor Correction AC-DC isolated converters, AeroQor AC Line filters, and InQor® line of industrial DC-DC converter technology to the Commercial Aircraft industry.  SynQor’s avionic high efficiency AC-DC COTS converters and AC Line filters have been specifically designed to meet the strictest DO-160G, Boeing, and Airbus in-cabin specifications.  The universal input, single-phase isolated PFCs, in conjunction with a holdup capacitor and AC Line filter, draw nearly perfect sinusoidal current (PF >0.99) from avionic single-phase sources and can deliver anywhere from 100 to 800 W. The units have a wide input voltage and frequency range that allows them to function seamlessly in European and US aircraft markets.  The 115 VrmsL-N 3-Phase PFCs draw a unity power factor, balanced currents to within 3% or less and can power 750 W loads with up to 50 mF of capacitance. The single-phase and 3-Phase modules have exceptional inrush and harmonic distortion performance characteristics even at high input frequencies. SynQor’s isolated PFC products have been designed to cope with the aircraft industry's harshest voltage and frequency switching transients. The converters continue to deliver power during normal and abnormal high-low voltage transients, provided that the system has sufficient hold-up capacitance.  In addition, the high-tech power conversion design considerably reduces the harmonic distortions produced by these modules, allowing designers and manufacturers to reduce the time to market of their new solutions. 

During this show, SynQor will also showcase its industrial line of DC-DC power converters and EMI filters.  Designers and manufacturers can combine these converters and filters with the AeroQor product line to deliver flexible, efficient, high-quality, and reliable avionic solutions.  SynQor’s synchronous-rectifier patented technology in industrial products yields converters with high efficiency, high output power, and low form factor characteristics capable of operating at high temperatures, eliminating the need for heatsinks in many designs.  The AeroQor and industrial products have optional load-sharing features that allow combining multiple units to deliver regulated and semi-regulated, high output power systems.
